BMT LLC - Founder & Managing Partner

• GTE Sylvania – Project Manager (including staff of two Stanford professors, engineers, and technicians on the team)

Worked on a 2 year 2 Million Dollar DARPA project for “Star Wars” laser tracking and acquisition system of ICBMs using a satellite based laser.

Successfully delivered the laser to Lockheed Missiles and Space Corp (the prime contractor) and installed in their vacuum test chamber.

Also captured Navy contracts (based on this state of the art technology) for tactical laser based communications systems between submerged submarines to satellites and aircraft.

• 3M – Metrology Lab Manager (group of 6 senior scientists and engineers)

Pioneered the development of inspection technology for high yield pilot production of optical discs.

• Hewlett Packard - Consultant for optical tolerance designs of a monolithic Michelson laser interferometer.

Developed metrology concept models, performed calculations and measurements.

• Beneficial Photonics, Inc. - President & CEO

Sold optical disc inspection systems and metrology products.

Incubator for BMT LLC, and developer of CAS products for inspection.
